Checklist for the patients before their telemedicine consultation

  • Ensure to have your test results, scans, photos and medical history updated in the telemedicine portal for the doctor to review.
  • Review confirmation for the date and time of your telemedicine appointment.
  • Arrive a few minutes early for the consultation with your healthcare specialist and familiarize yourself with the telemedicine platform.
  • Have your smart phone or the computer device ready and make sure your internet, audio and camera are working fine.
  • Prepare a list of questions or concerns beforehand to discuss with your doctor.
  • Gather any relevant medical information, such as recent test results or medication to discuss.
  • Preferably have a private and quiet space for the telemedicine consultation.
  • Wear appropriate clothing for the virtual visit (e.g. remove shirt for a skin exam).
  • Let family members or others in your home know about the telemedicine appointment.
  • Know that you shared an expressed consent to obtain telemedicine consultation when you signed-up or participated.

  • Are you experiencing any pain or discomfort? If so, can you describe it?
  • Have you noticed any patterns or triggers for your symptoms?
  • Are there any activities or positions that worsen or alleviate your symptoms?
  • Have you tried any remedies or treatments for your symptoms? If so, have they been effective?
  • Are you currently taking any medications or supplements?
  • Do you have any allergies or sensitivities to medications?
  • Have you had any recent medical tests or procedures related to your symptoms?
  • Are you experiencing any other symptoms that may be related to your current condition?
  • Have you experienced this type of symptom before, and if so, how was it treated?
